Your Neighbor’s Backyard (YNB) is a 501(c)(3) organization, based in Los Angeles and New York City. The mission of YNB is to create community by putting together a series of music, comedy and art shows that bring together local artists to raise awareness for global causes.

YNB was founded by Lauren Cortizo and Dominique Banas. In 2015, Cortizo and Banas organized the first-ever YNB, which featured singer-songwriters, stand up comedy, improv and sketch comedy. Over 75 people attended and all of the ticketing proceeds were donated to the United Nation Foundation's global movement Girl Up. Due to the positive feedback, Banas and Cortizo decided to make YNB a series, rotating backyards around LA and featuring artists across all mediums. There is now a team of 10 amazing people who volunteer to make these events possible in both Los Angeles and New York.

YNB empowers artists across all mediums to use their talents for a cause greater than themselves.
